Body Fluid Case Simulator

The LabCE Body Fluid Case Simulator, produced in collaboration with the Louisiana State University Health Science Center, includes 30 peritoneal and pleural fluid expert-reviewed cases, each with images of hemocytometer, cytospin slides, unknown nucleated cell identification, cell count calculation exercises, and review videos. Perform the analysis and calculations yourself and then compare your results with the experts.

Each case has been assembled and peer-reviewed by a panel of experts from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center and MediaLab.

The cases in the Body Fluid Case Simulator are ideal for laboratory science students and all laboratory professionals.

At the conclusion of each case, you'll get access to a video summary. Experts from the LSU Health Science Center review the case, pointing out important features, and working through trickier identifications and calculations. Each video lasts 5 - 10 minutes.

At the end of each case, you'll get a comprehensive report on your answers and how they compare with the experts' answers.

At the end of each case, you will be given a review video from the experts detailing the analysis of the case.
