Sheryl received her Master’s degree in Education from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She has more than 35 years of experience in laboratory science and has written and published textbooks and laboratory manuals, as well as having contributed to numerous online and print articles in the field of laboratory medicine.

Course Description: This course presents the CLIA personnel qualifications for individual laboratory personnel as outlined by regulations. The acceptability of an individual to serve in a role(s) when provided with specific qualifications is described and detailed. CLIA personnel requirements for high and moderate complexity testing are presented in a clear and concise way. The contents of an appropriate job description and recommended provision to employees are outlined, along with performance evaluation processes, including recommended components.
